I know, it was a little undertoned, but it describes and event that can happen in success, if you know what I mean. You don't have to be so rude. Sad

I was just saying it looked good. I like the storyline. I wasn't being sarcastic. Sorry if it looked like I was sarcastic.

April 1, 2011

After a travel day, we arrived in Saitama, where we would face off against the Lions. We went into the game looking to extend our 3-game winning streak against a team that was only 1-2-0 on the year.

Stars (3-0-0): 8 @ Lions (1-2-0): 2

Stars' Hitting:
M. Rippy: 3-5, 3B, R, CS
Yabe: 2-5, 2 RBI, R
V. Verde: 1-5, 2B, R
T. Jones: 3-5, 2B, HR (3), 4 RBI, 2 R
L. Sweany: 1-4
T. Jackson: 2-4, 2B, RBI, R
J. Percy: 1-4
B. Bradley: 1-4, RBI
A. Palmer: 2-4, R

Stars' Pitching:
M. Roberts: W (1-0), 6 IP, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 H, 2 K
A. Richards: 2 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 0 K
C. Bartlett: 1 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 0 K

Player of the Game: Yabe

Man, what a blowout.

The scoring started in the first with a Jones RBI single, giving us an early 1-0 lead. After a Sweany out, Jackson followed with an RBI of his own, and viola: a 2-0 lead after 1 inning.

In the bottom of the inning, Roberts gave up his only hits of the game: a double, followed by a homer by Lions' third baseman Nakamura.

We would come out swinging again in the second, as Yabe hit an RBI single as the third or fourth batter of the inning to drive in Palmer and give us a 3-2 lead. A couple batters later, Jones stepped in and sealed the deal with a 3-run homer, giving us a 6-2 lead.

We would score 2 more runs on an RBI single by Bradley in the third (7th run given up by opposing pitcher Wakui, who would only pitch 2 2/3 innings), and an RBI by Yabe in the sixth.

I think it's because your guy hasn't been in a very good mood at least half the time.

And besides, most of your outs the past couple of days have been deep fly balls. In fact, in this game you had one that was a definite homer but went just foul.

Also, you've been doing great on defense. We had one point early in the game where Jones made an error, and the runner went to steal on the first pitch of the at-bat. Your guy caught it and gunned him out.

Alright, so I was incorrect on records for the Buffaloes and Lions. Will be fixed in next update.

April 2, 2011

Today was our second game against the Lions, and I had just found out their true record. Apparently, I had been told wrong. Gonna have to fire that guy.

Stars (4-0-0): 10 @ Lions (2-5-0): 0

Stars' Hitting:
M. Rippy: 1-5, R
Yabe: 2-5, 3B, R
V. Verde: 4-4, HR (1), 3 RBI, 2 R, SF
T. Jones: 2-5, 3 R
L. Sweany: 4-5, HR (1), 3 RBI, 3 R
T. Jackson: 3-5, RBI
J. Percy: 2-5, 2 RBI, 2 DP
B. Bradley: 1-5, RBI, K
A. Palmer: 2-5

Stars' Pitching:
K. Onishi: W (1-0), 9 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 2 K

Players of the Game: Kayoto Onishi and Vince Verde

I feel sorry for the other team. I mean, after all, we scored 10 runs on 21 hits, while we limited them to just 3 hits. Props to Onishi for the way he pitched today.

On the hitting end, though, we started and kept going.

Our hitting began with a Yabe triple, and Verde followed with a sac fly to drive him in and give us a 1-0 lead. After Jones hit a single, Sweany stepped up for the start of his biggest game this year, blasting a 2-run homer to extend our lead to 3-0.

Our scoring continued in the third, with RBI's by Percy and Jackson. We would score 5 more times in the game, with those five being driven in by Sweany, Bradley, Percy, and a Vince Verde homer (his first) in the sixth inning.

Alright, so how do you guys like the log so far? Any improvements I should make (storyline, game recap format, etc.)?

Do you think I should give it more of a back story?

Hold on!

New idea! Will start on it soon! Smile
