Hey, I just joined too.

I had been poking around MLB Power Pros World for awhile as a guest, but the members seem to not be very accepting of new members, and I saw a link for this place, and you all seemed nice! So I joined here.

I own 2008 for the Wii. I have a PS2 (and a PS3) as well, but for whatever reason I do not have the game on that system.

That's cool. L-Train and I own it for PS2, but Anthony and Ham Bone have it for Wii like you guys do.

Psychedelic, a couple people here (L-Train, AnthonyP, and Liam) own PS3's and bought the Japanese version of Power Pros. They feature Japanese teams, but the text is in Japanese, and the game costs about $50 on eBay. From what they've told me, the game being in Japanese is not a problem for playing the game, as Liam has created 50+ players and is even writing a season log.

Well, I would get that if I had the money, haha. I'm rather broke right now.

But, what can you do. If I can ever scrounge up some money I would happily get that game! The only apprehension that I have is the fact that the game is in Japanese (obviously) but I'm sure I'd be able to find my way around.

Apparently, the only downside is not knowing exactly what is happening during Success Mode, although if you look at their facial reactions, you can get a general idea of what's going on. From what Liam has told us, the more you play, the easier you can maneuver your way around the menu's with ease, despite not knowing what each button literally says. Yeah, you can go to the bottom of the home page, and it will say Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu. Then go to password exchange. That is where my success players are. Best player is Carr
